Mrs. Elizabeth Lopez
Speech and Language
Mrs. Elizabeth Lopez graduated with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications- Radio & TV from the University of Central Florida. Mrs. Lopez earned her stripes in the Orlando media market, where she reached over 50,000 Central Floridians a day with her familiar voice as an on-air reporter at News-Talk AM 580 WDBO. After her radio gigs, she went on to work in public relations and later earned her Master of Science degree in Communication Science & Disorders from Florida State University in 2017. While at FSU, Mrs. Lopez was awarded the Outstanding Distance Learning Student Award in April of 2016.
She has developed a skill over the years throughout her various career paths (from journalism to public relations and now speech therapy) and that is the skill of being able to engage others much like a good coach would with his or her team. Mrs. Lopez believes that when someone can fully engage with another person/student the sky’s the limit as to what can be accomplished together. Mrs. Lopez loves spending quality time with her daughter and husband, as well as attending live music events.
