Mrs. Andrea Jimenez

Intervention Teacher

Andrea Jimenez is thrilled to continue to be a member of the Galileo School family as an ESE Teacher. Mrs. Jimenez is native of Caracas, Venezuela. She moved to Florida in 2015 with her husband and three children and currently lives in Lake Mary. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Universidad Catolica Andres Bello. In her native Venezuela, Mrs. Jimenez worked as a School Psychologist at a private school in Caracas, where she was responsible for students from Pre-K to 6th grade. In Florida, Mrs. Jimenez has 5 years experience working with students with various exceptionalities in Seminole County Public Schools. Mrs. Jimenez holds a Florida Professional Educator’s Certificate in Exceptional Student Education K-12, Elementary Education K-6, and a Reading endorsement K-12. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, cheering for her children at swim meets, cooking and reading.
